A Holt County Nebraska Pioneer
Johann was born 4 May 1850, Bohemia province of Austria. At 25 years of age, Johann married Josephine Tesar of Kunas. ♦ In 1877, they left Austria and boarded a ship on the French coast. After a month's sailing, they landed in New York and traveled to Platte County Nebraska where they lived in a dugout near the Platte River. ♦ The family relocated to Holt County where Johann and Mary died and some of their descendants live today.

Rudolph Kramer was my grandfather. He died from Parkinson's disease on March 7, 1948 in Stuart NE. I'm not positive, but he's probably buried in the cemetery at St. Boniface Chruch in Stuart.
